Star & Garter

The Star and Garter based on Richmond Hill, London was built in 1921 to provide accommodation and nursing facilities for 180 seriously injured serviceman. 

The Grade II listed landmark building was sold in 2011 and has been restored and converted into 86 exclusive, luxury residential apartments.

Selected for our experience of working on heritage sites and iconic landmarks, we worked in partnership with Hoare Lea, specifying products that best suited the beautiful period designs and delivered each apartment with a discreet airflow solution.

MAP was chosen to be a part of the refurbishment of the Grade II listed building. We were selected for our experience of working on historical building projects and our skill to supply or design bespoke products that best suit beautiful period designs and deliver discreet airflow solutions.

We partnered with Hoare Lea to supply Linear Bar Grilles and Mini-Swirl Diffusers in sidewalls and vaulted ceilings. We also supplied LDB20/8 High Induction Diffusers hidden carefully in coffers and ceiling details, out of sight.

As always with our historical building projects, we ensure that the products supplied are suited to the period design, are discreet and control the airflow effectively and deliver solutions that are unique to each project in order to protect and complement these wonderful buildings.
