Estelle Manor

Ennismore's latest venture, Estelle Manor, represents the epitome of luxury, situated within the picturesque Oxfordshire countryside on a sprawling 60-acre estate. This Grade II-listed landmark house, enveloped by over 3,000 acres of stunning parkland and gardens, offers a serene escape for guests.

Drawing upon our extensive expertise and technical acumen, MAPUK took on the task of enhancing the estate's historic frigidarium and tepidarium bathing hall. With a profound respect for the building's history and architecture, we meticulously designed innovative, tailor-made ventilation solutions and products to seamlessly integrate into its rich heritage.

MAPUK's involvement extended to various areas within the manor and its grounds, notably the Eynsham Baths. This Roman-inspired spa, spanning 3,000 square meters, offers an opulent retreat featuring a vast tepidarium bathing hall, five pools, a lounge, ten treatment rooms and a bar.

We took pride in crafting bespoke solutions for this spa complex, including elegant curved plenums, curved Mini Swirls, and curved Punch Plate Grilles (PPG), all meticulously designed to seamlessly integrate into the building's ceiling coffer.

For optimal integration, we specified LDB12/8 diffusers tailored to fit within a cornice shadow gap detail, while plenums were custom-manufactured to fit snugly within the confines of the ceiling void. To ensure longevity, the products received a coating of C4 corrosion-resistant paint and a bespoke finish in Akzo Nobel SW208 metallic bronze.

This successful design harmoniously balanced the preservation of the building's heritage with the contemporary demands of the space, providing guests with optimum air distribution and comfort.

In addition to the spa, our involvement extended to three private houses within the grounds, where we specified Mini Swirl diffusers and decorative flanged Punch Plate Grilles (PPG) with rear backing mesh for the radiators. Our approach was marked by empathy, ensuring that each solution respected the building's rich heritage and unique character.

Collaborating closely with the project team, our innovative solutions aligned seamlessly with the ambitions and visions of the architect. Engineered for the perfect balance of thermal and acoustic comfort, our ventilation solutions at Estelle Manor sesitively deliver timeless elegance and contemporary living comforts, whilst offering guests an unparalleled experience.
