Design & Build S&T (UK) requested MAP's expertise on the £50 million refurbishment of the Lalit boutique hotel. Working with architects and interior designers, MAP successfully integrated the old and the new, blending period features with the modern requirements.

The complexity came when integrating the old and the new, blending period features with the modern requirements.
The advice and service MAP provided helped to transform the original Grade II listed grammar school into a 70 bedroom, luxury 5 star boutique hotel.
We advised the client on the challenging integrations in existing period features such as timber wall panelling. We specified a number of Mini-Swirls and Fine Mesh Micro Blades. These were mounted discreetly, providing a sympathetic design and respecting the building's heritage, meeting both the architect's and interior designer's combined vision.
In the bedrooms, the LDB12/8 High Induction, Clean System was installed, providing optimum comfort and wellbeing for guests.
