MAPUK was selected by Mott MacDonald to participate in the prestigious refurbishment of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, an iconic luxury destination nestled in the heart of Knightsbridge, London.
Our contribution to the project encompassed a diverse range of ventilation solutions tailored to the hotel's exacting standards. We provided a selection of Mini Swirl diffusers, meticulously paired with decorative Punched Plate Grilles (PPG). The high-performance swirl diffusers cleverly concealed behind the grilles, ensured optimal thermal and velocity comfort, while the elegant PPGs delivered the aesthetic required of a 5-star establishment.
In the Royal Suite, our collaboration with an artisan plaster specialist yielded a unique solution. We seamlessly integrated IBD nozzles into a fibrous plaster frieze, offering a bespoke architectural element that aligned seamlessly with the interior designer's vision. Furthermore, our installation of LDB12/8 high induction linear diffusers in the penthouses, bedrooms, spa, restrooms, and restaurant areas guaranteed unparalleled thermal and acoustic comfort for the occupants of the hotel.
